Coated Hypotubes

Using the same proven technology as our wire coating, MCTec also coats PCTA hypotubes and hypodermic needles in various diameters and lengths. Various (PCTA) finishes are possible: skive, stylet or laser-cut spiral. Our proprietary coating process enables extremely uniform covering of DuraSkin™, LubriSkin™or ShieldSkin™. The thin and effective coating layer allows maximum design freedom for the tubing , especially when the wall thickness is critical. Our wide experience enables us to produce hypotubes with an ideal balance of stiffness and flexibility. Compared with the competition, MCTec can provide hypotubes with a thicker wall or larger ID at the same OD specification. This enables more design freedom and better flexibility, kinking properties or stiffness. Hydrophilic coating (SlipSkin™) is available on request.

Hypotubes are available in a wide range of outer/inner diameters with the renowned MCTec DuraSkin™ coating.
